About Ellisa

Ellisa is a musician from the Metro Detroit area that recently relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana. She has been singing as long as she can remember. "My mom likes to say that I came home from the hospital humming".

She started doing community theatre at a young age and then began taking private vocal lessons in middle school. Her training included classical, pop, and musical theatre. She competed in The American Guild of Music competitions for five years. Her thoughts on her training were that she had to learn the rules to break them. She had to learn to control her voice so she could perform the best.

After graduating from high school she took a break from singing but the call to perform was too strong so she began looking for venues. After a chance performance with a band from Nashville a Detroit venue began booking her on a regular basis. Since then Ellisa has performed at venues in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Ellisa and the band play a range of genres but like to put their own twist on favorites. But whether is rock, R&B, or another genre Ellisa gives a show you won't forget soon.
